Americans favor TPP, but less than other countries do

With a final vote today in Congress on a bill to give President Barack Obama broad negotiating powers on trade, our new Pew Research Center report shows that while Americans favor the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), they are among the least likely to support it in the nine TPP nations surveyed. And, as with many issues in the U.S., there is a partisan divide on support for TPP.
