BAYONNE — The City Council is anticipated to approve a citywide project labor agreement at its regular meeting tonight that will ensure, among other things, “maximum economic benefit” for the local economy in construction projects, Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis announced earlier this evening.
Davis said in a statement that the approval of the PLA will also mean that large construction projects will be guaranteed to include skilled and experienced labor, as well as protection against costly project delays.
