Robbinsville police seize heroin and a handgun during traffic stops on I-195

ROBBINSVILLE — Robbinsville police arrested five Ocean County residents and confiscated heroin and a handgun during two separate traffic stops on Interstate 195, the police department said.

On May 14, Officer Scott Kivet pulled over a vehicle on the highway and ended up arresting both occupants on heroin possession charges.

Driver Megan Thomson, 20, of Point Pleasant was charged with possession of heroin and related drug possession charhes, driving under the influence of narcotics, drunken driving and counts of reckless and careless driving.

Passenger Timothy Scribner, 29, also of Point Pleasant, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
