Battle of the N.J. downtowns: Which one is your favorite? [Poll]

MONTCLAIR — For the second time in its 18-year history, the National Main Street Center has chosen a New Jersey downtown as one of the best in the nation.

Earlier this week, the Montclair Center was named one of the 2015 Great American Main Street Award winners. The only other N.J. town to ever receive the honor is Westfield, which was one of the contest’s 2004 winners.

The news garnered a flurry of comments from readers – some who agreed with the decision, and others who suggested other Garden State downtowns that give Montclair a run for its money. …read more
