Little Ferry man stole $3,000 in groceries, Teaneck cops claim

TEANECK — A 42-year-old Little Ferry man stole nearly $3,000 worth of groceries across eight trips to a Teaneck Stop & Shop, Teaneck police said Friday.

Brian Williams is being held on $2,500 bail for the alleged thefts, charged with eight counts of third and fourth degree shoplifting.

According to Teaneck Police Chief Robert A. Carney, Williams on Feb. 25 filled his shopping cart with diapers, laundry detergent, baby formula, socks and shrimp and skipped out without paying.
