Attorney General to appeal N.J. mom's case against 'DYFS'

A Phillipsburg mom’s case against the state child services workers and police who “pursued her as a child abuser,” will face delay due to an appeal filed by the Attorney General’s Office, according to her attorney Kenneth Rosellini.

Citing violation of the Fourteenth Amendment’s due process clause, Deputy Attorney General Randall B. Weaver issued a notice of appeal for the January 2015 ruling that Michelle Mammaro has the right to sue state employees who charged her with child abuse.
