The PATH system is in the middle of a 10-year $4 billion project to improve service.
It has already replaced its fleet of trains with new cars.
A new Harrison station is on the way, along with improvements to both the World Trade Center and Exchange Place stations. Also planned are improvements to the signal system, which is expected to make the system run more smoothly.
