2 hurt when motorcycle, car collide on East Broadway in Salem

SALEM — Two people were taken to an area hospital after the motorcycle they were riding on and a passenger car collided late Sunday morning.

The accident took place around 11:15 a.m. in front of  Advance Auto Parts on East Broadway.

A man and a woman reportedly were on the motorcycle and were thrown off from the impact of the accident.

Fenwick and the American Legion Ambulance Association of Woodstown responded to the scene along with Salem City firefighters.

A towing company was called to remove the motorcycle from the scene. The passenger car did not appear to have suffered any major damage.
