LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Some southern New Jersey residents whose homes were wrecked by Superstorm Sandy are upset about bills their getting from their township for lawn-mowing services.
The Press of Atlantic City reports that Little Egg Harbor Township billed homeowners more than $19,000 in 2013 for mowing and lawn maintenance services.
Assistant township administrator Michael Fromosky tells the newspaper that the bills are part of a routine practice to keep the community looking good.
