Even before he opened his highly-touted New American restaurant St. Eve’s in Ho-Ho-Kus, Chef Steven Christianson knew that he was going to offer homemade sodas. Not only because he had wonderful memories of drinking his grandfather’s homemade root beer, but because St. Eve’s was built with a swanky-looking bar and Christianson doesn’t have a liquor license.
