Clifton man charged in stabbing

CLIFTON — A 36-year-old city man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of an acquaintance in a knife fight, authorities said Thursday.

Rogelio Caraballo was arrested by officers who found him in a backyard after the fight on Mahar Avenue early Wednesday, said Detective Sgt. Robert Bracken of the Clifton police. A knife was also recovered, Bracken said.
