Family of N.J. man killed in crane crash settles wrongful death suit for $1M, report says

The family of a 30-year old Burlington County man who died when a crane collapsed as he was worked at a Manhattan construction site last year has settled their wrongful death suit for $1 million, according to a report by the New York Daily News.

But Michael Simermeyer’s family is bothered the crane’s owner, Yonkers Contracting, did not admit wrongdoing, the report said
