Washington Township resident frustrated with soil erosion near Grenloch Lake

Life on Grenloch Lake, once a secluded vacation spot for weary city-goers, has been anything but a picnic for Roseanne Coller.

After a house fire, the NJ Transit oil spill in 2011 and now Tuesday morning’s torrential rains — that capped off a particularly rainy and flooded summer — she’s fed up.

“We had a lot of rain this year, so we got a lot of erosion, but this has been going on for 30 years,” Coller said.
