HACKENSACK — Robin E. Coles, a parent active in her church and community, has been chosen as the newest member of the city’s Board of Education.
The school board voted unanimously to appoint Coles to the board Monday night to fill a seat vacated last month when Kevon Larkins was found to be living outside the district and was expelled.
Board member Jason Nunnermacker said Coles was the best candidate because of her experience.
