Woodbury Councilman Harry Trout steps down

 WOODBURY — Third Ward Councilman Harry Trout has resigned from the city council, citing “personal reasons.”

Council President Bill Fleming publicly announced the resignation during Tuesday night’s council meeting, which Trout did not attend.

Trout’s resignation has been effective since last Saturday. He alerted city clerk Roy Duffield of his decision in a letter received by officials the previous day.
